Fall-ing ~

I'm Fall-ing!
it shows in my work ~
it shows in my wools….

it's showing up in my threads too ~

 here in my sewing room,
the flavors, sights & smells have crept their way in…

I'm enjoying some pumpkin & sweet potato muffins
with a hot mug of spiced tea to help boost my never-ending craving to create.

outside ~
my gardens are beginning to don their Autumnal colors too ~

the purples have arrived:

along with ghostly-whites…

…and oranges.
{oh those oranges!}

then add some poison green & rust to the mix
and I am over the moon happy!

my favorite palette's name is simply
" Autumn "

this time of the year brings us much to do ~
besides working on orders
and keeping the farm shop well-stocked & plentiful,
~ we are also in the throes of preparing for our annual

Gathering of Primitive Friends Show
at Notforgotten Farm

Peter & I are blessed to have our friend Chris here with us ~
{some of you have met Chris before :) }
Chris keeps us in line and makes sure we don't fall behind.
 {pun intended}

Chris helps us with everything from the farm animals,
to the gardening ~
...he also is a huge help to Peter in the Woodshop.

~ they are in the process of making a special thread holder for the show ~

Little Farmhouses!

aside from working with wool, needle and thread ~
I've been dabbling again in my paints…

here is a
Witch Silhouette Coffer
that I will be offering on Ebay this afternoon….

I really like the way this came out!
very old & early-looking to me.

watch for the link to be added on my sidebar over there to your right ---->
when it is listed :)

the weather has cooled off a bit today, less humid too.
more signs of Fall coming for sure!

Gosh, Lori…so many new things coming our way! The little farmhouses look awesome, such a neat idea, those little thread holders. Also, the Witch Coffer looks marvelous…I love the painted wavy lines (I forget what that's called)! Just for fun…here's a joke that's right up your alley:

How did the threads get to school?

Answer: The Spool Bus, silly!

Have a great day!
