Good Morning Friends & Folk!
~ while walking in the woods yesterday
the tang of woodsmoke filled my lungs along with the crisp air of late November.
Crows cackled in the distance and cows lowed across our neighbors pasture,
... telling us that rain might be on it's way.
I foraged for mushrooms, turkey feathers and antlers ~
filling my basket with plump acorns instead
that will be scattered about the farmhouse for a little decorating fun.
ah, the pleasures of simple living.
