Peacefully Hooking ~

…Did you hear that?
that *wooooshing* sound?
what is that noise????

….why, that is the sound of TIME flying by!

my stars…
here it is November 5th already.

I have been working on things to take to the
...quietly hooking in the evenings after my chores are finished for the day.

Watching old b&w movies and listening to big-band,
swing & classical music while I work….

here is my latest little hook-ling:

~ a tiny striped stocking ~

measures only 8-1/2" x 7-3/4"

I used 1/4" {or #8 cut} strips in reds, dirty whites, brownish greens
 and charcoals for the background.

neat & tidy

I have to bind it yet,
but
don't know how I'll 'finish' it…
proddy edge? braided?
I'm sure it will let me know what it wants to be….

plain & simple

 I think it's a good little design
that can be left out all Winter long,
...don't you agree?

I'm a wonky-hooker!

Now I'm ready to draw out another one this size ~
I'm thinking of a snow-folk or santa perhaps…
small in size, big on charm :)

little loops make me happy

I wanted to let you all know that Stacy West of
is hosting another
Primitive Christmas Blog Hop!

I'll let you know what 'day' my project will be posted on
Stacy's blog ~
I'll be offering a free ornament project
and a cookie recipe too!
{{I know I'M looking forward to seeing all of the designers projects !!!}}

Hoping you all enjoy a peaceful, creative day my sweet Friends!

* Blessed be *

Very cute little stocking! I only have 3 more Master Gardener classes and maybe THEN I'll have time to work on Santa Claws.

So Sweet! I love all of your punch needle items. Do you sell any finished creations, or just patterns? I am always looking at your blog to see if you have anything for sale (besides patterns). I have 2 or 3 things that you have made (nothing needle punched), and I just adore them all!

Have a blessed week!
