~ a wooly forest ~

 Good Sunday Morning!

this time change thing....i'm over it.
my dogs are confused, my husband is confused ~
and I am, well...
perpetually confused!

Anyhoo,
here in the Studio yesterday, the Notforgotten Farm Tribe {aka 'the girls'}
made a whole forest of standing wool trees...
I had found a seller on Etsy that offered the cute textile bobbins
with black wood bases, and thought they would work well for our trees.

and they did!
and here they are:

each one of us made a tall one and a shorter one,
some made three branches for their trees, others made four {or both}
and there are two missing from this bottom photo as she had to leave early ~
so there were actually a total of 12 trees in our Notforgotten Forest

we had a blast, as we usually do...
~ lots of laughing and carrying on ~
it's like Art Class in grammar school when we get together for a project! LOL

thank you Miss Anita for teaching us how to make our trees!
xoxoxox

Hoping your day will be a creatively peaceful one my sweet friends,
no matter what time it is!

Blessings from the Farm
~ Lori

What fun!
I absolutely HATE the time change. Hopefully this will be the last one, but it still hasn't cleared our government ;-(

Love your wooly trees! Their colors suggest Autumn into Winter, a lovely transition!

The Notforgotten Forest is enchanting! I never really thought of doing the trees with colored branches other than green or white but they're absolutely perfect! It sounds like it was another day not-to-be-forotten at Notforgotten Farm. ~Robin~

Wonderful forest! Our small hooking group will be making the fuller version of these in a week. We sawed into rounds a fallen birch branch for the bases. Such fun! Sheepunderfeet
