~ Angel Embroidery Tutorial Revisited ~

 Hello Friends & Folk!
~ and a very happy Wednesday to us all...

it is a gloomy, chilly day today.
perfect for a pot of soup on the woodstove and a loaf of bread in the oven!

also just the type of day I love to have when I'm doing a bit of my embroidery work...
embroidery allows me to create in such a different way than cross stitch or punch needle...
the stitches used are simple, but the effects I can achieve with such simple, basic stitches is so enjoyable!

Any motif or design can be rendered in embroidery ~
and you can stitch them from primitive, naive-looking,
to more detailed and filled-in work, such as I love to do...

I know that some of you shy away from the filled-in designs because you're unsure
that you can achieve the same look...
but I am here to attest to the fact that you can!

a bit of practice, TINY stitches and patience is truly all you need.

Below, you'll find the links to my
Angel Embroidery Tutorial
which I posted here on the blog in 2020.

and here is the finished Angel for you to see:

You will need to click on the Template below to bring to full size, then save to your computer
and print directly from your printer.

Then click on the LINKS below to begin your journey into Embroidery!

You will read everything you need to know about how to get started, and follow along with my photos of the Angel in-progress.

I would LOVE to see your finish, if you choose to share it...
I will be posting about this on my Instagram & Facebook pages,
and will use the hashtag:

Have fun, go easy on yourself...be kind to others and,
Blessings from the Farm

Although I've plenty of floss (and many other craft items, lol) I no longer embroider. But that is very kind of you to offer those tutorials and the pattern.

Happy Wednesday to you my friend. Thanks for reposting this... It is still very much on my "good intentions" list. I think I need to scootch it up a good bit. ~Robin~

Oh, how I love your embroidery work, and this angel is just wonderful! I would like to give it a go one day, but I’m quite sure it will end up a ball from pulled-too-tight threads!!

Oh, Lori, such a lovely design. All your stitching guidance is perfect ... I hope everyone comes to realize that, in the end, you make it your own...with the expert guidance leading you there.
