Good Morning Friends & Folk!
happy Monday to you all.....
with the recent spell of hot humid weather, it's not likely that many of you are drinking hot tea...
{sweet & iced perhaps?}
I am a year-round & year-long tea drinker.
gotta have it.
copious amounts of tea fill my mornings
and my belly with it's healing powers and sunshiny-goodness...
did you know that green tea is the best fighter for cancers?
and can help keep weight down too?
so many benefits from those tiny leaves...but not all tea can come from tea leaves.
herbal teas are beneficial and tasty too!
mint, chamomile and rosehip are among my favorite.

we will be holding a "Tea & Embroidery" class here in the Studio at Notforgotten Farm ~
... our dear friend Nancy B. will be teaching us once again
about healing teas and how to mix our own teas from her organic botanicals.
whilst we are learning from and listening to Nancy,
we will be stitching on an embroidery design
that will be finished into a drawstring bag to hold our loose tea!
I'll post a photo of the finished bag
and also all info for class soon, then opening registration for students :)
hoping you all have a most beautifully productive day my friends!
Blessings from the Farm
~

I would LOVE to attend!! What is the fee?
I wish so very much that we lived closer!!
Oh Girl, this is another beautiful piece. Your embroidery has brought up so many wonderful memories of when my Mom showed me how to do this. I so wish I still lived up the road. I'd be there picking your brain and watching your hands.
Got a few questions: Got a book you highly recommend? What fabrics do you stitch on? What needles do you use??
It's been a long, long time since I did any of this. How about a little refresher class for those of us who don't live down the road from you??!! PLEASE!!
What a wonderful idea...wish I could be there.
Its so darn sweet!
