Coming Soon ~

Good Morning Friends & Folk!

... can you say cold?
frigid
glacial
…icy?

{but can you say it without your pearly whites chattering?}
n n nn no?
...me either.

9 degrees upon waking this morn ~ now up to a balmy 21.
~ poor chickens are laying ice cubes ~

inside the farmhouse,
I'm scuttling about in my slippers & long-janes…
keeping my hands warm with my mug of tea
and my bones thawed by the never-empty wood stove.
How 'bout you? cold where you are?

So here is the finish of one of my upcoming,
SOON to be released designs :

"I Forgot"

AND
I am happy to announce the release of a new hand dyed linen to our repertoire ~

"Ironstone"
hand dyed linen from ©Notforgotten Farm

Ironstone Linen from ©Notforgotten Farm

since I've been lightening-up my farmhouse decor,
and I know a lot of you are too ~
I thought I would bring this idea to life.

I think it is beautiful ~
it may not be for everyone, but I am so happy with how it turned out!

the base linen is a beautiful oyster-white…
to which I've added my magic ;)
and tried to replicate that beloved, worn & stained look
of early and aged ironstone.

it is quite lighter in color than our Old Farmhouse linen ~
a nice change for me…..

what do you think?

New Patterns for Cross Stitch, Punch Needle, Rug Hooking & Wool Applique
along with the new Ironstone linen
will be available shortly….

I'll announce the release here and on my FB page as soon as everything is ready to go ~
{I just had to show you all what I've been so secretly-excited about}

in the meanwhile ~
Keep those hands busy & those hearts warm ~ my sweet friends….

I am snugged in and stitchin'! Working on a hooked piece...a big red pitcher filled with sunflowers. It's helping to keep me warm!

I'm freezing in SC...finally warmed up from 11F to 28F for the high. I keep sitting on my hands to warm them up between stitching...need to find my fingerless gloves!
Love the new pillow pattern and want to make one. Hope it comes soon to etsy!
New linen is very nice!
Stay warm,
Martha

I often say I live in the coldest house in Tennessee, so yes, we are a bit chilled to the bone. Thank goodness for hot tea and a fire and fingerless gloves!

Love your newest design ~ I'll have to put this one on my wish list.
Also love the way you finished it into a pillow!
Many Blessings
