Down a dirt road, past fields and deep woods ~
stands a humble little farmhouse wearing chippy white paint and a rusty tin roof...
it's here at our beloved Notforgotten Farm that you will find me...

chasing kittens, puttering in the gardens or talking to the tree.

I love seeing the past through the eye of a needle ~
...I collect old & odd things.
I pull wool & cotton through linen. I walk barefoot in my garden and throw my head back and cackle when I laugh...

I'm just a little farm-witch that loves where I am & who I'm with ~

Closed Today!

Good Morning from
"Frosty Bottom Farm!"
 LOL ;)

Wanted to pop in here early to say
....that due to the extreme cold temps,
 the farm shop will be

today (friday)

O P E N
tomorrow (saturday)

here are a few snaps I took outside in my pj's early this morning ~

icicle on the bittersweet vine

jack frost on my window

so pretty

sunshine but COLD!

forcing a few white hyacinth bulbs ~ my kitchen window.

I've added a (partial) Events & Classes list
to my sidebar so you can keep track of what I'll be doing this year ~
this list will be added to/amended in time :)

I'll be keeping cozy by the wood stove today,
working on those curtains for the bathroom redux ~
{{can't WAIT to share the finished room with you all}}

Keep warm & please remember your outside friends in this extreme weather:
provide seeds and/or breadcrumbs for the birds & squirrels
make sure they have unfrozen water
throw some old towels or hay down for snuggling
OR ~ better yet, bring them all in the house!!!

* Blessed be *

Good morning . . . we too are sunny but FRIGID!
Makes for a good stitching day, I agree!
Fed the birds, coffee in hand, husband and I settled into our chairs and dog asleep at our feet . . . . life is good! ;-)

Be toasty!

I'm rarely cold, but even I have to say - it is COLD out there! LOL! I've been feeding the birds and squirrels more than I usually do (and I always feed then a lot)... Keeping the water unfrozen has been a job, but I keep doing it over and over...
My inside/outside cat wants to stay in - thank goodness. He ventures out for a few minutes and then he is running back inside! Love the candle in the measuring cup shaped dish. I'm always looking for new candle holder idea!
