a little riddle ~

Hello Friends & Folk!
let's have some fun...
what do you get ~ when you add these...

plus these...

plus these...

PLUS these????...

let me know your thoughts...
the FIRST person to guess what the correct answer is,
to what all of these put-together will add up to,
then.,...
I will send you one!!!

to play along, just leave me a comment on this post ~ with your best-guess
as to what you think I might be creating with everything I've shown you...
When (if?) someone guesses correctly.,
...then our little game will end & I'll announce who the winner is!!

Here's thee one-&-only hint:

An open-ended barrel, I am shaped like a hive.
...I am filled with the flesh, and the flesh is alive!
What am I?

Blessings from the Farm!

  1. Well the answer to the riddle is a thimble. But the shape reminds me of a pocket -- the kind that womenfolk used to wear under their aprons.

  31. Thimble, thimble keep, thimble pouch, thimble pocket, and still no correct answer! "All of these put together"... multiple thimble keeps on a pincushion?? LOL!!What's that called??

  32. Well, it reminds me of those soft leather thimbles that fit over the finger. If you combine it with a button from the card on one side the button could be used as a hard center at which to push on the needle to pearce it through the item your sewing on. The flesh is the finger placed in the barrel opening and it is a live beause it is competing a task.
Okay, I'm tired and it is only a guess.
