Hello Friends & Folks!

you are going to be reading about two recent workshops in this one blog post!

So, grab a cuppa something,
settle back and enjoy the many photos below!

This workshop was held here in the Studio at Notforgotten Farm on October 19th ~
with a finishing class being taught by Becky Noland from Lucy Beam Love in Stitches...
not only did Becky teach, she also brought along a fabulous trunk show!

happy Students ~

Our heartfelt thanks to Becky Noland
for always teaching a fun class, and sharing her trunk shows with us here in the Studio, and to the Students who always make us so happy when they visit!!

And Then ~
Joan & I drove to Tipp City, OH.
for a workshop with Ali {Alice} Strebel and her wonderful friends!

Ali's finish is applique, needle felting and embroidery on her hand dyed backing
with hand dyed fringe!!!!!

Happy shoppers in my booth with Miss Joanie at the helm ~

Here are some snaps of the amazing textiles that Ali brought for us to drool over
and add to our collections! ~

and then they even had a throwdown of wondrous Show & Tell goodies to share! ~

{she is a professional costumer} Holy Moly!!!

We arrived back home to VA around suppertime yesterday ~
much unpacking to do and have to put the shop back together now ~
will be working on orders that came in while I was away,
and hopefully can write down some the ideas that are swimming in my head from being with SUCH creative & KINDRED Friends!

~ my Thanks to Joan for always helping out with everything!
my Thanks to all of the girls who signed up for the workshop and put up with my shenanigans
and those who came out to visit with us ~
and my Heartfelt Thanks to Alice Strebel for asking me to come to the quaint & charming
Tipp City to teach, and to her cousin Marylin
who kept us fed with her home-cooked lunches the entire week!!!

Blessings from the Farm
