~ Happy 2018 ~

A New Year!
A Fresh Start and a New Beginning!

May 2018 be a year filled with Peace...
Light, Love, Health & Plenty for us all ~

I was looking through my Pinterest boards again
~ and found some antique advertisements for the
Willimantic Thread Company
which used to be based in Willimantic, CT {my home state}.

I am always looking for them at antiques shops and online...
I have a few, that I found while still living in CT, but they are in terrible condition.
These are much prettier...enjoy!

this about sums up how we feel today in the 6* temps this morning!

this one is my favorite, bet you can guess why ;)
PLEASE please pay special attention to our out-door friends in this frigid weather!!!
by offering them shelter or warm blankets, hay, fresh water {not frozen!}
and bird seed...
you will be doing a wonderful service for them.
~ they will appreciate it and love you so much for it!

I'll be keeping my hands warm with stitching again today!

Blessings from the Farm

Oh, Lori, didn't they have the sweetest art for advertisements at the turn of last century (that sounds weird...and olde)? I love the bird one, as well, and the ice skating one is charming...

It's 18 degrees here...but sunny. I'll take it! :)

I used to visit a great quilt shop in Willimantic when my son was attending UCONN in Storrs. I especially loved the frogs on the bridge!
