~ Short & Sweet {and cold!} ~

♥ Hello Friends & Folk ♥
and a happy bright and COLD December day to you!
the wind is whipping around out there,
making our already cold temps feel so much colder...
I've got my love to keep me warm...

 here is my
"...to this Place" rug all hooked
and bound with wool.

the design itself measures approx 13" x 23"
... and that's before the binding was added ~

neat & tidy
love this finished-look!

here is the back ~
yes, I leave plenty of room between loops and rows...
I hate a lumpy rug :(
{{although I see a few spots where I'll add a few more small worms}}

then stitched on a patch of old ticking to use as a label ~
I use a gold sharpie to write my labels with ~
... the color looks faded & old.

I loved working on this, and will have the mailed paper pattern,
PDF downloadable pattern and pattern on linen available soon for you ~

I'm working on a few more hooked designs,
~ then will list them all in our Etsy shop soon!

I don't offer kits for these,
I just simply use wools from my scrap basket & piles, saved and collected from here & there ~
If I can remember the names of some of them, I'll pass that info along for you :)

Until then, keep warm and keep busy!

Blessings from the Farm ~
Peter & Lori

So comfy looking. Love it. Will you explain how you did the binding finish?

Have to say I really like your new header. It 's cold and blustery here today too.

It turned out beautifully! And the edging is wool?

I am a new hooker and I love your advice about not being too lumpy. This is my fallback...too close and tight, now I will relax a bit more.
Love the design and Merry Christmas to you and yours with LOTS of Peace for all,

Wonderful finished rug! I do love that ticking patch in the corner too. It makes the perfect prim addition. Enjoy your cold weather. Before we can blink an eye, it will be sweltering July and we will all be dreaming about these colder December days with a cup of hot tea or chocolate.

I love this beautiful rug! I'm a newbie, and you've inspired me to get back to my rug in progress. Thank you!
