~ "Antique" Cat ~

}}} Happy 4th of July {{{
Friends & Folk

I finished another little punch last night ~
I'm calling it
"Antique" Cat
because it kinda-sorta reminds me of an antique hooked rug…

I punched the ball of 'yarn' using my favorite dimensional technique
for added depth & character, and of course had to add my primsical look to the cat himself…

I like the diagonal 'tongues' along the top & side borders too.
do you?
think I'll add more of them to my work ;)

… this will be heading to the
We're hoping you can come out for a visit to see all of the great dealers of antiques,
prims & folk art that will be there again this year!

*IMPORTANT* PLEASE READ**

As a Top-Seller on Etsy,
 I received an email from them saying that they are working out some kinks
 having to do with deterred payment notification from buyers to sellers/shops….
 ~ some of my customers may have received notice also,
that their payments for purchases haven't gone through, thusly delaying shipping.

 IF you purchased/placed an order with my Etsy shop between June 6th & June 30th
your shipping may have been delayed due to that.

I have also received notice that shipping to Canada is delayed {not sure why}
AND
that the recent flooding in West Virginia has been causing lost/damaged/delayed/returned packages.
If this is the case and you think you are missing an order, please email me asap so I can resend/reship.

Thank you humbly for your kind patience in the meantime my sweet friends!

What's more "prim" than an orange tabby with his ball of bright red yarn! Love him, and the border movement, as well. How can you work so fast, dear lady?! Have a lovely day, Lori...

Love the new cat.....the shipping in Canada may be delayed because our postal workers are planning to strike unless they can work out their grievances thru negotiation .....This strike threat has been on going for the last week or so 🤔

Delayed shipping to Canada is because their postal service is on strike right now. I was told this by a fellow stitcher who was trying to ship to me and could not. Thought I would pass it on. Apparently this has also overloaded their other carriers and everything is a little crazy at the moment.

Love the cat! Reminds me of my old ginger kitty.
Shipping is delayed to way up here because there is a labour dispute with the postal service in Canada at present thus they have stopped shipping so things aren't caught up in transit.
Speaking of the trusty old mail, I came across my shipping receipt a few days back for a piece of antique linen I sent you many months ago... did it ever arrive?

The Canadian postal system never actually went out on strike but it was very slow for few weeks while they argued back and forth. Things seem to be OK up here now.
