Good Morning Friends & Folk!
…a soggy morning once again ~
seems like April showers don't want to leave us!
I've finished up the little project for the upcoming class at
Ye Country Mercantile
Saturday, June 25th 2016
here is ~
I really love the colors & design in this ~
simple, primitive and folk-y
all rolled into one.
…the little basket has been punched on a higher setting
on my ultra punch needle for added dimension ~
and wonderful, warm-toned Valdani perle cotton thread,
in size #8 have been used too…
it's been mounted to one of Peter's sweet butter paddles
and I've added a touch of ribbon to it, too ~
I think there might still be a couple available openings for the class,
so if you're interested in coming
please get in touch with Doreen at Ye Country Mercantile for the particulars :)

What a sweet design! I absolutely love the color play, Lori…Very Colonial, yet lively! Your mounting it on Peter's butter paddle is a perfect match. And there's that Witch Shutter again! And a cauldron of white blooms…Nice images to keep in my mind throughout the day...
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!
Love this little piece. It would be great to see those wonderful paddles and different sizes for different sizes of punchneedle pieces.
That should have said IN different sizes!!
Wish I could be here for the show, will be away that week.

Ohhh such a "sweet" design for all of us Lori, can't wait...sooo thrilled I'll be coming & bringing 2 friends, we should have a great day! I hope you'll have some of Peters {butter paddles} for sale for us to buy so we can mount our finished punched pieces to; they're just "perfect"! I love these yummy, prim colors you chose & the simplicity of the design fits right into Sturbridge's Colonial period...love, love, love! ~♥~ Can't wait to finally meet you! ~Diane
