~ H O M E ~

~ Home & Happy ~
{{{ yep ~ that's me! }}}

I arrived in Virginia last night around suppertime ~
 my sweet hubby had our humble farmhouse neat & tidy for me,
… with my favorite candles lit and he even did the laundry!
ahhhh ~ crisp clean line-dried cotton sheets ~

Peter makes thee best scrambled-eggs too, so he whipped us up a batch for supper too.
~ simple is best ~
ox I love you Peter xo

Now that I've had a chance to unpack and recoup from the 8 hour drive south
{through blinding rain over the Tappan Zee Bridge yesterday morning, thankyouverymuch}
I have lots of things to tell you!!

First:
Our Rug Hooks Are READY!
woohoooooo ;)

…… yum …...

aren't they gorgeous?
they come in 5 different colors ~
Barn Red, Yellow Ochre, Sage Green, Oyster White & Robin's Egg Blue

and
they come in 3 different styled handles:
Pencil, Club or Ergo

Most of the ones we have ready
 have those AWESOME black steel "Magnetic" hooks!
meaning:
they will stick to your large heavy-duty magnet
used on your rug hooking frame to hold your scissors/hook…
how handy-dandy is that?
{{we have a couple of brass hooks available too}}

Look for them to be sold individually in our ETSY SHOP this evening!!!

 Second:
Here is the finished-finished model for the Jan/Feb/March 2016
Little Stitches Handwork Club {LSHC} !!!

'Hand & Heart' Hanging Pinkeep
 ©Notforgotten Farm

 I stuffed it with Peter's organic sawdust for a nice heavy feel…
then added a black silk ribbon to hang it from.

I really love how this turned out ~ the motif is simple enough and reminds us to
remember our friends & those we love {notice the gold wedding band}
I decided to add a patch on mine using the same fabric {{that will come with the member's kits}}
… and lots of humble hand-stitches holding the patch on ~

Kits will be
SHIPPING THIS WEEK!
YAY!

So,
that's my news for today ~
I'll be back here tomorrow with more news!

I have a love hate with the Tappan Zee. Hate driving over it, love that it is the gateway to my favorite places...New England.

Like Dorothy said "there's no place like home." Glad you made it home safe and sound.

Love the hooks.

What a brave gal! Taking the Tappan Zee in good weather isn't fun and I know it is even less fun in the blinding rain. Glad you got home safely!
