I love when the towhees come to visit!
their little feather 'suits' make me smile…
we had a small flock of them come to the feeder yesterday morning
to nibble amongst the titmice, sparrow & junco-folk
~ little miss towhee, chatting with her sparrow girlfriends ~ |
meanwhile, 'the boys' kept lookout high above them ~
{most likely still going on about that crazy interception in Sunday's game no doubt!}
" and then out of Nowhere…"!!!! |
….doesn't he look like he's ready for a night on the town?
where's his tiny top-hat and cane….
dinner and dancing? |
I'm working on this now:
~ kittens ~
in honor of ours here,
...who will soon turn one year old
{I know!...whaaaat?}
h e l l o |
just like the little birds outside my window,
I flit from one thing to another…
~ landing for a time here,
then I'm off to…
there.
I sure do have a full calendar of deadlines this year ~
from classes here at the farm shop
to classes to be taught at two super retreats…
book & magazine deadlines,
open houses and shows ~
and of course those deadlines
...that I inflict upon myself willingly.
i just like to keep busy i guess ;)
You can see that I've changed the blog {again...}
and I've moved that looong class/schedule
that was once on my sidebar
over to it's very own stand alone page ~
{{all of my links are on my sidebar there on your right.}}
...just makes the blog look cleaner & less cluttered for me.
Wishing all of my snow-bound friends and family in Connecticut
warm woolies and safety ~

I look forward to your posts about your feathered and furry friends / family !! These birds are adorable and have warmed my heart on the chilly morning in Florida. Looking forward to your kitten design. I have 4 kitties in my house and they are my best friends and snuggle buddies. Stay warm !!
Well darn it that does it! I'm going to learn punch-needle now that I see that kitten design. I've put it off long enough and I just can't resist those sweet little faces.
I have had the hugest flock of Gold Finches at my feeders. Love to watch the birds. I wish we could have the Towhee's but rarely do we see them here. Can't believe the little kitties are almost a year. Would love to see photos of them!
Happy birthday to the kitties. A year? really? My kitty (Betty) loves to watch my OH birdies. Don't see Tohees at my feeders.
Your new photos with tulips & bird sightings...gives me some hope for SPRING!! Wayyyy too much snow here right now :-O
"Happy Birthday" wishes to the Kittens! Wow time does fly when you're having fun!
