Down a dirt road, past fields and deep woods ~
stands a humble little farmhouse wearing chippy white paint and a rusty tin roof...
it's here at our beloved Notforgotten Farm that you will find me...

chasing kittens, puttering in the gardens or talking to the tree.

I love seeing the past through the eye of a needle ~
...I collect old & odd things.
I pull wool & cotton through linen. I walk barefoot in my garden and throw my head back and cackle when I laugh...

I'm just a little farm-witch that loves where I am & who I'm with ~

Finished ~ and available!!!

She is finished.

she now needs a name….

 all hand sculpted...
...all hand-stitched.

she is whispering something….

here she is on my little green shelf
setting amongst old photographs & shoe pincushions…

quiet…can you hear her?

ruffled & ruched
and ready to go…but where?

Crone's cap tied down
for a magical flight to Somewhere…

...seemingly ready to burst into the sky!!

something wicked this way comes….

Now offered for your amusement & bidding pleasure on

* Blessed be *

Hi Lori,

What a marvelous depiction of a witch....she reminds me of 'The Wicked Witch of the West' on the Wizard of Oz! I showed your work to my artist husband Bill and he was extremely impressed! You are TRULY blessed with incredible imagination & artist ability. Coincidentally he has been carving some crows and a witch, but yours takes the CAKE!!! Kindly, Your friend Tammy from Scattered Seed Samplers.

Awesome, Lori! Looks like your auction is off to a lovely start, too. I hope that she does very well for you and gets to fly off to a home where she will be cherished.
