Good Morning Friends & Folk!
I found this in my mailbox yesterday ~
my ATHA publication
this issue is chock -full of Rabbits and Celtic designs in time for Spring
in beautiful color photographs ~
the publication has come a long way since I first joined way back when I lived in CT…
so 'put together' and easy to read now!
A T H A ~ Association of Traditional Hooking Artists |
... while drooling over some of the most wonderful rugs
and dreaming about visiting all of the shops, shows and camps in their advertisements,
I turned the page and literally stumbled when I saw this!
my "Be Still My Heart" design (adapted by Spruce Ridge Studios for Notforgotten Farm) |
this B E A U T Y was hooked by
Marguerite Evans of Nome, TX
and color-planned by Diane Stoffel
oh my stars!! |
the article includes how they added different hooking techniques such as
wool-beading (collar & border)
and how to do a picot-edge (heart)
also how to incorporate plaids into your rugs for movement and texture…
I think Marguerite did a FABULOUS job, don't you agree??
wonderful wonderful |
Thank you Marguerite
for wanting to hook my little girl,
...you made her come to life with your hands!
and Thank you to Kris Miller (www.SpruceRidgeStudios.com)
for always doing a spectacular job on adapting my doodles for me!
I'll be working away on 'stuff' for Rug Fest the rest of this week ~
come on out & see me there on Saturday!!
(info on sidebar)
another *SPARKLER* of a day here today ~
~ hoping your SPRING has SPRUNG for you!!!
* Blessed be *
