Down a dirt road, past fields and deep woods ~
stands a humble little farmhouse wearing chippy white paint and a rusty tin roof...
it's here at our beloved Notforgotten Farm that you will find me...

chasing kittens, puttering in the gardens or talking to the tree.

I love seeing the past through the eye of a needle ~
...I collect old & odd things.
I pull wool & cotton through linen. I walk barefoot in my garden and throw my head back and cackle when I laugh...

I'm just a little farm-witch that loves where I am & who I'm with ~

Happy Tuesday!

Good Morning Friends & Folk ~
and a Happy Tuesday to you all…

I will finally be able to venture out of our driveway today
since the big snow last week ~
...going to the post office,
some banking and a little market shopping will feel like a vacation to me!

before I head out,
I wanted to mention that the folks in the photo below say
"don't fret, Spring is on the way!"
(oh, and also that their auctions are ending today at approx 5:00 pm eastern time)

click HERE for your bidding pleasure on my 'about me' page

Walter & Winifred

and in case you forgot what it looks like ~
in case your eyeballs have been blinded by all of that stark white stuff…..
THIS is what Spring looks like here at Notforgotten Farm ~
...and I cannot wait for it to visit me again this year.

Minew & pansies

verdant & lush ~ mint, lemon balm, lavender, sweet annie (everywhere)

I am jealous if your Sweet Annie. Someone gave me some to try to seed, but it didn't work. What is the secret? Where do you get it? Yard looks wonderful by the way!!

Sweet Annie??? Did someone say sweet annie. I LUV that stuff. Don't think I would be lucky enough to grow it here in the Mojave Desert. Your Pictures are so inviting for an early spring. We are having our worse drought since 1885, so they say. This means my garden could and would NEVER look as lush as yours.
Thanks for sharing anyways ...
Peace to all,

Lovely springtime pictures. Glad to hear you're able to get around. I wondered. Sounds like you have been hit hard like us in the Midwest. We have another one coming Thursday . But today was much better.
Blessings to you.
