Monday:
rainy & cold...freezing drizzle (i love that word...)
my favorite weather!
I love rainy mondays ~ ask my Mom, she'll tell you.
don't know why, but a rainy monday brings back sweet memories
of Mom ironing and watching soap operas...
those days were cozy & warm...a "chicken-soup-kind-of-day"~
now I prefer to do handwork on these grey winter days.
who am I kidding? I prefer handwork any day.
Now that the open house is a wonderful memory,
I will begin settling back in to a normal routine of designing, creating and deadlines.
The Jan/Feb/March 2014 Little Stitches Handwork Club project needs to be finished.
New wooden items are in the progress in Peter's woodshop ~ the sawdust is flying!
another BOOK deadline needs to be met (hint hint!!!!)
Our new Winter 2014 'regular' design models
(punch needle, cross stitch, rug hooking and appliqué ) need to be finished for their release.
...here are a few snaps of one of the appliqué designs in progress:
I have to fix his eye ~ it's crooked! |
...there will be a 'mate' to this design, so I'll show pics of her soon ~
Hoping you all are settling in to your comfy chairs
...and that your hands are keeping warm
by working on something 'Winter-y'!
~ Stay warm & safe my Friends! ~
* Blessed be *
Lori

Oh Lori, I so love your designs and can't believe the electric frenzy going on in your brain as those designs come forth. Sure wish I could tap into that talent you have.
