Saying Goodbye is never easy ~

My Sweet Tippy...
the big, beautiful girl that helped to heal my heart 16 yrs ago
crossed over the Rainbow Bridge into the Summerland yesterday...
....my heart is broken again.
Tippy & baby Iggy

Always ready to snuggle or take a nap in her antique cradle in my sewing room ~
her loud purr was so comforting to hear.

I could always see love in her big owl-like eyes
Always in our hearts, we'll see you again my gentle kitty

we will forever miss you!!
please give our love to Samson, Buster, Marmalade
....and our other beloved friends there with you for us!
Blessings from the Farm!
Lori

  2. What a perfect constant love there is between humans and the pets that own us. Today Tippy's running and playing like a kitty again free from the age and pain that had slowed him down knowing that you loved him enough to give him that last gift.
    XOXOXO

  3. Lori, I'm sorry that you've lost a furry member of your family..
We had a kitty that looked very much like your sweet girl.. He was so special and such a love. I know it hurts like *all get out* to lose a pet.
Know that I'm thinking about you and your loss.

  4. You are in our thoughts and prayers. The pain of losing a pet is never easy, but if we don't risk the pain, we don't get to participate in all the love they bring.

  5. Dear Lori, I'm so sorry for your loss and my heart goes out to you and your family. It is such a difficult time when you loose a beloved pet. They really are a gigantic part of the family. I lost my doggie Shannon of 18 1/2 yrs a few weeks ago and have not been able to even talk about it. I miss her so.
Remembering all the funny things she did and all the love she gave will help.
    Big Hugs to you,
    Nan

  28. Your post brought tears to my eyes. So many of my babies that have gone over the Rainbow Bridge...my sweet Romeo the pom just 11 months ago. He was only 3, and was diagnosed with IMHA so I had to make the choice to put him to sleep. They bring such joy, but are so hard to say goodbye too. I hope that many fond memories heal your heart. 55. So sad for your loss. It's very hard when you lose a fur baby you've had for so long. I had a blue point siamese that I had to put down when she was almost 22 because of kidney failure. Hardest thing I ever did, but time healed the hole left in my heart and I pray time heals the hole left in your heart too.
