What a perfect constant love there is between humans and the pets that own us. Today Tippy's running and playing like a kitty again free from the age and pain that had slowed him down knowing that you loved him enough to give him that last gift.

Dear Lori, I'm so sorry for your loss and my heart goes out to you and your family. It is such a difficult time when you loose a beloved pet. They really are a gigantic part of the family. I lost my doggie Shannon of 18 1/2 yrs a few weeks ago and have not been able to even talk about it. I miss her so.
Remembering all the funny things she did and all the love she gave will help.

Your post brought tears to my eyes. So many of my babies that have gone over the Rainbow Bridge...my sweet Romeo the pom just 11 months ago. He was only 3, and was diagnosed with IMHA so I had to make the choice to put him to sleep. They bring such joy, but are so hard to say goodbye too. I hope that many fond memories heal your heart. I am so very sorry for your loss. We lost our cat Sammy a few months ago and he was going to be 16 with his birthday in April.
