farm fresh

Everyday

I receive little gifts like these...

beautiful orbs amongst the hay

warm & smooth to the touch

waiting for me to gather them in my basket...

...and create a wholesome and delicious meal ~

my hens are fat & happy...I am fat & happy.

~ simple country pleasures ~
blessings from the farm,

Lori

Hi, Lori:
How blessed you are.
We buy fresh eggs from a farm not far from our house. There is an
incredible difference in the taste versus the eggs from the store.
The fresh egg yolks are bright and the whites are not runny.
When we have to get eggs from the store we hate it!
Hugs,
Susan

Beautiful eggs! Hope you had a special birthday Lori. And hey, the 50's aren't so bad so don't worry about next year!

You had me at eggs. I love everything about eggs - the way they look, the way they feel, the way they taste, the funny little critters that lay them....And those are some pretty amazing photos! GORGEOUS! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

How those little ovals give us so much pleasure. I just wonder if my hens understand how amazing their little ovals are to me each day I gather them & thank the girls for their hard work. Blessings!
