so I'll be resting in the farmhouse today,
feet up,
with some stitching and a cat in my lap

Hope your stitching and your cat will make you feel better soon. Your photo was wonderful! Here I am in Phoenix with 97 degrees today.....no rain....no pumpkins. Sigh.......

Fell better soon. If it is gall bladder you have my sympathy. Well, not that much since the durgery today is easy peasy. Not like when I had mine done and the 6 inch scar to prove it! LOL Seriously. If it is gall bladder the laser surgery today is pretty routine. Both my sisters had it done and were back to work in no time.

hope you are back to health soon. but a day of sitting, stitching, cat petting doesn't sound too bad either.
You deserve a break anyway Lori - take it when you can (or when you have too).
Enjoy the day as much as you can. Sounds perfect to me--gentle rain, stitching and for me, a dog by my side.....Ahhhh!

Lori I so enjoy your blog and knowing that you are under the weather really makes me wish that I can do more than just say enjoy your feet up and a little stitching and hope you get well soon...
Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I have problems with my gall bladder too. I am going for a scan next week, hopefully it does not mean surgery. I do not like being in hospitals. Hope you feel better soon.
Hi Lori, I went thru that and wound up in the ER. Don't wait, a simple blood test will confirm and surgery is by scope with a tiny cut. A breeze, and you will feel so much better. You will wish you had done it sooner. Feel better, Dottie
