Today will be spent going through my house...
I have again, as in the past, somehow cluttered it all up again with little knick-knacks and tchotchkes that I really don't need, so I'll be boxing them up for a yard sale...

after being in Donna's cabin, and seeing that clean, refined and uncluttered look, I have to get my little farmhouse back to that...

Do any of you find yourselves doing the same thing?

No Lori...you're not "wonky"! I do the same thing. That's why it is so nice going to people's homes to get ideas. I do it all the time! I look at your farmhouse pictures and get inspired. Your friend's cabin looks wonderful! What a fun time you must have had!

Lovely pictures, what a beautiful way to spend the day, among all them wonderful items and with friends.
OK...How soon can we sign up for dulcimer lessons??
Lori,
Oh La La! I am loving those log cabin walls, they look like a faux job I did on a house in Santa Barbara. What a cool backdrop for your gorgeous needlework. It all has so much "atmosphere", Thanks for giving me a little inspiration tonight! See you soon, Will
Hi Lori~ a wonderful way to spend your weekend..and it looks like you had pretty weather too! I received the pattern booklet that I ordered from you and can't wait to start them! Thanks so much!~Kathy
There isn't much I like better than a good clear out! It makes me feel SO good! I love the idea of "traveling lightly." What a lovely day the sale was held on and how pretty everything looked. Makes me happy just to look at it!
Ohhh..just gorgeous. Look at all that wonderful furniture! I do that same thing....now and again I will get the need to declutter and rearrange everything. :)
Have a great day!
Doreen
How wonderful! I would have been in heaven surrounded by all those country goodies!
What a wonderful weekend! And you are not alone dear friend...Since moving into this house, I've gone thru and weeded out in all areas on a pretty regular basis! I still don't know how I accumulate so much in a short amount of time!
I'm cleaning out as we speak, I tend to load up on the gadgets, tire of cleaning them, move'em out, couple of months, move'em back in or get new. It's the primitive cyle of life!
