~ photo drop ~

Hello Friends!

 Happy Autumn to us all!
it is not quite 8:00 pm here in Virginia,
but it is totally dark outside...

we went for a walk after our supper of chicken soup and rosemary toast...
still very warm here, but hoping that will change now that it is 'officially' fall?

found a few snaps in my camera roll to share...
these are sassafrass leaves up in our big field...along the edge actually.
I love their shapes and colors!

this guy, below....
we don't know where he came from
but he stays on the fringes of the field due to Grizzly
always chasing him.
I've named him Batman {lol}

a few weeks ago I visited Hannah & Marcus in Richmond,
and this beauty was living outside their front windows!
I know I know...but I find them fascinating and beautiful and worthy of life too...

...and speaking of Grizzly...
here he is in Peter's His recliner cuddling with the throw pillow.
the 80lb. baby.
{xoxoxox}

I'm wanting to get started on Christmas designs,
and am almost finished cross stitching models for a few more of my 'littles'
that I hope to release very soon.

I want to hook some chairpads too.
and do some primitive applique.
and work on my spun cotton things.
and crochet.
and and and...

Blessings from the Farm

Hope Grizzly and Batman become friends. I cannot wait for another little. I need to purchase more of them myself to do. They are all adorable! Wish I lived closer to you as I would be coming in for wool too. Nothing close to me alas. Janice

When I lived in Georgia we had so many spiders. I went out and bought a book so I could identify them. I grew to really like banana spiders and their webs. That's quite a list of crafting to get accomplished, and yet you will. I do enjoy your creativity.

We noticed the other night that we were bringing in the hummingbird feeders by 7:45 as the dark rolls in. Love the picture of Grizzly looking all cozy in his chair.

I find spiders interesting as well...unless they're crawling on me. One summer I had a large spider build a huge web right outside my front door. My sister refused to come visit me all summer. ;-) I don't think there are many more photogenic dogs than Grizzly. I understand your "and" problem...hooking punching, stitching, cotton spinning, appliqué, paper play, and...and.... Enjoy your ands.
