thank you for loving us for the short 6 years you have had on this earth...
we want you to know that we will always remember you,
and how much joy you have given us.
those walks to the mailbox that you enjoyed, carrying back the mail for us ~
will never be the same.
we will miss your 'gifts' that you would bring us...
from chicken feathers to tiny baby bunnies...
and how you always wanted to be with us, no matter where or what.
we will miss your soft snoring, your protective bark and your playfulness.
we will always remember the look of love in those beautiful brown eyes of yours
~ those eyes that could speak right to our hearts...with no words spoken.
we are so sorry that you had to leave us,
but you were very sick and in pain
~ it wasn't an easy decision to make to set you free....we wanted you to be with us forever,
and you will be ~ in our hearts and memories.
please say hello to Lazy & Buddy, and all of our other friends that wait for us ~
tell them that we will see them again!

There never was a luckier dog than Roxie when she found you and Peter. Notforgotten Farm is a loving and magical place for the creatures that find their way there. Buddy and Lazy will help her to run free. My tears are falling. It's so hard to lose them.
I know all too well the pain of losing a dog. Only six? I am so sorry! What a gorgeous pup, and what lucky people to have gotten to experience the love.

I empathize with you Peter. It is the hardest thing for our fur babies to leave us. Can totally relate to the love in the eyes of a dog for us as Ben had that same look.

I felt a stab in my heart as I read this. I felt I knew her a little too. I wish her life had been at least twice as long. I often look at my animals knowing that I will have to go through this someday. I am so sorry she wasn’t here longer with you and Peter.

My condolences on the loss of your beautiful Roxy, they do take a piece of your heart with them. I do, as many of your readers know the pain well. Even though it is hard to lose Roxy after such a short time, you would never had not had her to avoid the pain and sadness. She was one of life's delights.

While the decision is so hard to make, in our hearts we know it is the right one. She was a beauty and also enjoyed all the love you gave her. Peace to you and your family.
