~ In Betweens ~

I will be starting another new cross stitch design today ~
in-between working on my red Christmas sampler.

the red linen is beautiful, but since it is a winter design, and done in only one color floss ~
I really need to be working on something a little more softer and spring-like...

so I chose my 40ct Old Farmhouse stained/dyed linen {from Notforgotten Farm}
and some Weeks Dye Works threads:

aren't they beautiful?
I 'keep' them all on my huge old Kilt pin ~ very handy indeed!

since it is a dreary drizzly and damp Sunday ~
I will sit in my favorite stitching chair and stitch the day away...

my Stitcher's Tray on the arm of my wing-back chair is such a useful thing ~
don't have one?? well ~ these are available in our Etsy shop:

I hope your day is filled with sweet moments doing what you love ~

Blessings from the Farm

Good Sunday afternoon, Lori...it's raining cats and dogs up here in Michigan too. I love my Stitcher's Tray!! Comes in so handy! Your hand dyed linen is gorgeous and I love the WDW threads...the colors are beautiful!

I do those in-between things too except mine is usually other rug hooking projects. It's nice to have another go-to ready to go when you get stuck or just something different.

I just picked up some 40 ct linen for a cross stitch project. Any tips? It is such a fine weave that I am afraid I'm going to go cross eyed (LOL). I ordered an LED light with a magnifier. Hoping that helps. Love the idea of the old kilt pin to organize your threads!!!

Pretty, pretties.... So glad you started offering your wonderful dyed linens again. Fun idea using the kilt pin for threads.... And I adore the stitching tray.... I think I might have to treat myself....Hopefully the kitties won’t walk off with whatever I leave on it.... ~Robin~
