~ Seeing Spots ~

 I love spots actually,
polka dots, spots on puppies...
a spot of tea ~

but I do not like spots on my nose.
can you see the culprit??

there....right      there.

a bugger trying to get a photo of the interloper this morning
due to the dark dreary day we're having...

but there it is,
and I am heading down the  dusty  saturated  road to get it biopsied
and hopefully eradictaed before it invites it's friends.

 wear your sunscreen ya'll.

Blessings from the Farm

I have had melanoma removed from my thigh and it was not malignant. I have had worrisome spots appear elsewhere and was also worried so had them checked. Sometimes I was told it was okay, but just developing into what will become a brownish 'age spot' due to my sun exposure.

Dermatologist told me to wear Solbar Zinc even during the winter or cloudy days and high number sunscreen during the sunny season. Uh, in addition to the Solbar put on in the morning.

Sending safe wishes and prayers your way.

Good to have it checked, have heard so many of my friends who have had to have part of their nose removed, that is scary. I have a larger brown one that comes in the summer. I got neutrogena daily brightening creme and it went away, so I knew it wasn't serious. I stay out of the sun but I also love being outside, so hard not to get spots. I hope the test results are negative.

Good that you are having it checked out. I had a spot of basal cell carcinoma removed from my face a number of years ago. Better to be safe than sorry.

I noticed the age spots on my face would dry up and flake away, leaving new pink skin underneath, and then it would start all over again. So I began putting on 30 SPF sunscreen lightly, every morning. And the age spots faded. They aren't gone, but they don't go "through the flake off, pink skin, repeat" routine anymore. Good Luck!

Fingers crossed for a good outcome.... I am a melanoma survivor.... Hard to believe that someone in Nod could be exposed to enough rays to get it....but I am living proof. Robin

Get it gone! Hats and sunscreen are so important throughout life but we only seem concerned after we become adults...especially older adults. Good luck and keep us posted.
