~ A February Walk ~

It does a body & soul good
to get outside and breathe the fresh morning air
before I settle in to my stitching chair...

~ come for a short walk with me, won't you?
having a friend along makes everything even better.

our daffodils are waking up...

Pinocchio & Daisy beginning to shed their winter woolies...

Good Friends they are ~

mornin' to you too my sweet Bobby!

dried Lamb's Burr pod.

our Harry Lauder Walking Stick is showing signs of new catkins for spring ~

Beauty Berry is still beautiful...to me.

Rose of Sharon pods...

~ that was nice, wasn't it?
even a short walk in Nature with friends is so very healing for us...

my teakettle is whistling to me now,
I'm off to make a steaming cup of peppermint laced with honey....
then find my needle and thread.

Hoping you all find beauty in even the smallest things!

Blessings from the Farm

Daffodils already !!! With the 2 warm days we have had , it is amazing to see them popping up so soon !!! Just afraid it will be freezing cold again & will get lots of snow .
Always fun to have a tour of your pretty surroundings & all your animals !!!

I will go to sleep tonight and dream of daffodils poking through the soil to greet me..... It will be a long, long, time to see ours for real here. Thanks for the little tour...Sometimes these winter days make me feel as though I live on another planet.....
