~ Thread Tales ~

 Good Morning Friends & Folk!
~ and a very happy 1st Sunday in September to you all ~

the Summer is fading fast, our walnut trees are dropping nuts and leaves...
our thoughts are turning to the hay fields and harvest once again.

we are in the throes of preparing for our event in less than two weeks!

I've been working my fingers like mad to offer you some of my finished handmades,
as well as finish shop models and new patterns for my Folk Embroidery line ~
like these:

"Pumpkin Farmwife"
"Pumpkin Farmer"
"IchaBod"
"IchaBoo"
"Woodland Witch"
"Lunar Witch"
"Moonstruck"
"In Training"
"Big Sister"
"Little Bittersweet"

"Deviled Eggs"
I also made some of my magnetic needle minder necklaces:

and a basket-ful of prim painted pumpkin brooches...

currently in my hoop is yet another small embroidery,
a sweet farmwitch admiring her sunflowers:

and here is a gift for you!
 a little FREEBIE I'm calling
"Potions & Notions"

feel free to use this for embroidery,
punch needle, wool applique, rug hooking or painting
&

Hey there, hi there our adorable Farm Witch with those *MaGIcAL* hands always so fast at work! Lori, your humble embroidery pieces have truly "put a spell" and "captivated" all of us with their charm! Thank you (always) for your kind sharing of your talents and (special little freebie gifts)!

I know you're powering along for your Gathering but also because your upcoming eye surgeries will probably force you to sit "quietly creating in your head" for a time so not to use or strain your eyes. This will be tough, but on the "other side"...I'm sure you'll be back to full steam with such CLEAR VISION & TONS of NEW INSPIRATION! Sending you all positive and healing energy my friend now & throughout the days ahead!

Many Blessings, your friend up Nawth ~~ Diane

Hey Lori...Love all your little stitcheries....I am assuming that speed is merely a function of practice time...I sure hope so because I seem to be so slow at this embroidery stuff...I keep thinking how much faster I am at punching! LOL And I have stripped my thread down to three strands for punching so my lines are thin.... crisp, but thin!! I will keep at it! Thanks for constant inspiration on projects!

Hi Lori,Wishing you a speedy recovery with your eyes. You will be seeing so much more with clearer vision. Please include me for the Turkey embroidered pattern. I will be getting more, but Turkey is my first priority and hopeful that I can learn how to do embroidery stitching. Thanks so much for sharing your amazing talent and so much inspiration.

Peace and Blessings my friend,
Barb
