~ Fresh Eggs and Strawberries ~

Hello Friends & Folk!
... and a happy WINDY Friday to you all ~

we have been without power off and on since late last night, when the winds picked up ~
I still can't reach Joan, as her phone is out and rumor has it there are roads blocked off everywhere.
There have been lots of sirens in the distance today ~ praying for everyone's safety!

Peter went out to the barn this morning and came back with these ~
gifts from our hens and our lady duck!

the 'girls' are pretty productive lately, and are laying big fat eggs ~

and Miss Ethel, our lady duck has been laying hers as well ~
remember, her hubby Fred passed away last Summer...

these sure will be good for baking!

In between projects, I am working on a series of small cross stitch designs
that will be part of a series called

"Stitcher's Adornments"

This one that I'm starting will have tiny strawberries on it ~
🍓

OH! ~ If you haven't noticed,
I changed my links on the right side of the blog ~
there were a few new followers that could never seem to find my pages for my freebies,
shops who carry NFF info, etc.
So now you can clock on the word of whatever you're looking for
 and viola!

I hope you like the look, I do!

Blessings from the Farm

I always like the look! I also love the new header, very lovely indeed. And those eggs don't need dyeing for Easter, as they are beautiful just as they are! The idea of "Stitcher's Adornments" is a useful one, one that can add to a piece being worked on...or just be there of themselves! Always something new with you!

I used to help my grampa and gramma collect the eggs when I would spend time with them. Would also help weigh and package them too. I sure miss those days of long ago. I don't stop in here often enough and realize every time I do, how much I enjoy your posts. Looking forward to your new pieces.
