... And then it was.
and I am ready ~
I'll once again prepare my old farmhouse
~ for the coming cold months...
... and remember the important things.
I'll savor the colors & scents of this season ~
and keep them in my heart
for another year...
~ another turn of the Wheel.
... trying to stop time to enjoy it's swift passing,
before my beloved Autumn is gone again.
and feed my soul with it's beauty and bounty,
and hold close the memories that will be made
... with my needle & thread ~
and of friendships and family.
it's true.

Happy Autumn,
and a Blessed Mabon to you!

Happy Fall!
Beautiful post Lori. My absolute favorite season of the year. Refreshes my soul.
So nice for the Turning…of the Wheel, of colors, of landscape…Ahhhh. Though it will be in the mid nineties today, I am celebrating this time immersed in my gardens…cleaning, trimming, giving them new pride. Then I shall go find some pumpkins to disperse among the plants as a crowning "Welcome, Autumn!"
Beautiful post, Lori...
Beautiful post and so wonderfully apropos. -Cathryn
Visual feast! thank you!
I love your post-every time- and Tasha Tudor. I need to look and read her book after I have had my dinner. Ít´s time for that now and I have chanterelles in a pan on the stove-delicious!!!
