Good Morning Friends & Folk ~
I hope you all enjoyed a peaceful weekend…
we worked on the laundry/mudroom and accomplished quite a bit I'm happy to say.
Peter sheet rocked & taped, and added our new Larson Storm Door
it is brown & I love it….
I'm so tired of the Virginia red dirt on everything,
~ at least the brown will help to hide paw & handprints :)
notice the new trim color?
yep ~ this old farmhouse will be undergoing a transformation…
it will no longer be chippy & white ~ it will be stained Buckthorn Brown with Cape Cod Red trim!
{{slowly & steadily we will begin…baby steps}}
*of course there will be lots of photos*
while my hubby worked his magic,
I stitched..of course!
working on the class model for our upcoming Black Cat Paddle in October
{see my sidebar for show/event & class schedule} --->
this is a DIMENSIONAL Punch Needle class project ~
and I will teach my students how I active that great primitive & folky look
using those beautiful Valdani threads & an Ultra Punch Needle.
There are only a few more spaces left if you're interested in taking the class with me,
just email me…
&
I'm stitching on this too:
a small finished pincushion that I'm stitching on my Cupboard Cloth
{my hand-stained Osnaburg fabric}
no chart, won't be a pattern ~ just a simple stitch-as-I-go design.
see that brown bird? ~ that started out as a dog.
yeah ~ don't know what happened there….but now it's a bird.
ha!
I have recently added a new page to my Link List at the top of my sidebar to your right ~
it is a page that shows a small portion of the wonderful Needlework Shops that carry my patterns.
click HERE to visit the page
If you are a shop owner that carries my patterns and would like your shop info included on my page, OR if you would like to place a wholesale shop order for my patterns directly with me,

Well my Friends, I am off to process the weekend-orders
{as always we Thank You for your support of what we do!}
~ Blessings from the Farm ~

I too have a Larson door. It's WONDERFUL! Looking forward to Peter's and your works-in-progress.
Punch needle looks great, Lori....your new addition is going to be wonderful!! I wish you and Peter lived up here...I'd hire him in a heartbeat to redo my bathroom...been waiting for two months for contractors to start...I'm getting very frustrated!! Can't wait to see all the pictures I know you will post!!
Ah, yes! Brown storm doors are the way to go! I'd love to change my siding and trim colors. Yours sounds awesome!
It's all coming together nicely!...good work Peter! ~ Enjoy the day!
Your upcoming stain and trim for your farmhouse sound fantastic (your New England roots are really showing here, Lori)! Black Kitty looks so mysterious, as all cats are wont to do… Your stitching is lovely, and your once-a-dog-but-now-a-bird almost looks like a little goose! Transformation indeed. Have a marvelous day!
I love your chippy house! The change will be fabulous and can't wait for photos. Our siding is so porous and bad that it needs replaced. No contractors here can put up traditional siding, they all do vinyl. Amish!
We have a gray stained saltbox with that trim looks great!
I wish I lived closer I need major help with punch needle.
Cathy
P.S. I love your Witch Needle Wax!
Very cool looking door, Lori! Look forward to seeing the farmhouse redo. Your projects are looking good!
