~ HAPPY MAY DAY!!!!! ~
~ Friends & Folk ~
I LOVE when my 'friends' come to visit with us here on the farm ~
look who showed up just yesterday alone:
a beautiful Scarlet Tanager-boy!
I just love to see him with his red jacket & black sleeves & tail ~
all he needs is a dapper little top hat & walking stick!
and
a Lunar Moth ~
a strange but oh so beautiful creature that comes to our lamp posts occasionally...
he is perfect in every way
and gently climbed onto my hand for a long while ~
oh! hello!
{sweet face}
I tucked him down onto our iris' to rest,
and when I came back to check on him he had flown off on a new adventure…
even the deer came for a visit around suppertime…
here they are {5 of them} outside our keeping room window ~
and
even Mizz Nancy came out for a visit!
hearer she is test-driving our new Floor Frame
{Peter's grin says it all}
Nancy gives our Standing Floor Frame a Thumbs Up ~ with hook in hand!
Thanks Nancy!
{yours will be ready soon Nancy-girl, along with your hook and cutter board}
and here are my offerings for May's
Early Work Mercantile
two naive samplers for you!
Hoping your Sunday is a peaceful & creative one,
~ filled with all kinds of Friends!
~ Blessings from the Farm ~
