Down a dirt road, past fields and deep woods ~
stands a humble little farmhouse wearing chippy white paint and a rusty tin roof...
it's here at our beloved Notforgotten Farm that you will find me...chasing our kittens, puttering in the herb gardens or talking to the trees.
...
and I collect old & odd things.

I pull wool & cotton through linen. I walk barefoot in my garden and throw my head back and cackle when I laugh ~
I'm just a little farm-witch that loves where I am & who I'm with ~
I love seeing the past through the eye of my needle...

~ Freedom ~

"We take the stars from heaven,
the red from our mother country...
separating it by white stripes, thus showing that we have separated from her and the white stripes shall go down to posterity,
… representing our liberty."
~ George Washington, attributed

Here is a small & quick freebie for you to stitch :)
just click on the chart & symbol legend below the color example ~
they will open in a separate page and then you can save them to your computer.
then print them out and stitch away!

So wonderful...and to show some recognition to the stitching women in our history! Thank you so much, Lori! (and that's a sweet idea, Charl!).
