it's pretty.
ya have to admit it…
although I am dreaming of daffodils & hyacinths
lilacs and lavender ~
… and even though it is mostly pure white out there ~
I am enjoying the color outside my window today
subtle shades of browns & blacks, creams & yellows
a little red…
giving my palette today a softer-side.
keeping our feeders filled today
will help to keep my feathered-friends happy
and will allow me to be inspired by them once again :)
fat cardinals, tufted titmice, juncoes ~
towhees, sparrows & wrens….
finch and nuthatch too
all getting along together famously
like Good Neighbors should.
it is a perfect day for some simple-stitching….
I am heading up to my sewing room to do just that.
it's always sunny in there!
Hoping you all enjoy a cozy, creative day my friends…

Your trees and shrubs have the most beautiful birdie ornies!!! Sip the tea and stitch the day away!
We had promises, but not fulfilled. 🌨The temp and sky seem right... So here is where your favorite color schemes - out the window. When I first saw the photo of your drapery looked like a sheer, gausey dress with belt and scissor necklace! Enjoy your snow day!
Charlene SC ~ it is a gauzy little childs dress hanging in my sewing room ~ with a scissors necklace!

So many birds today! ! I'm keeping my feeders filled, too. Got the wood stove going and a pup on my lap😊🐶 I'll be hooking my latest piece - a butterfly on a coneflower - later❄🌼 Gotta love a lovely snow day!!
Look at the beautiful trees filled with birds! And, all the snow..... It seems just like yesterday that we were all gathering there at the Farm and were perched under the tents for a little shade from the heat! Thanks for sharing ALL of your inspirational photos Lori.... We all look forward to them so~ See you real soon at the PSS Retreat!
