~ Good Monday Morning Friends & Folk ~
another dreary day outside -
warmish temps but that will soon {unfortunately} change.
These warmer temps have me wanting to dig in my black dirt…
i cannot wait to
plant & seed, pull & weed.
{hmmm….that sounds like a good sampler verse, no?}
{{see what happens? now I have to go write that down.}}
I am working on the finished-finishing
of my cross stitch & punch needle designs that I'll be releasing this week ~
here are some snaps…
I decided an 'egg' shape was good for this one below ~
I'll want to put some trim on it but not sure what yet…
~ any suggestions?
and look at these mischievous little buns…
they look like they're planning on raiding that basket there, don't they??
both designs will be sawdust & lavender-stuffed…
Oh I forgot to tell you…
We'll be adding our organic dried Lavender buds to our Etsy shop soon!
I love to toss a handful into my sawdust when I stuff my projects :)
I am working on a Sheep in the Clover wool appliqué/embroidery design as well,
that I will hope to have finished up by wednesday.
so here is where you'll find me…
getting my exercise on my treadle machine!!!!
{keeps my calves shapely…HA!}
my sunny & peaceful
little corner of Heaven on Earth ~
Peter wants me to show you these ~
His new HOOKS!!
yep ~ a whole slew of them will be available soon in the E-shop.
the colors are even more awesome in person….
he amazes me with his wood-turning skills…
mine would come out looking like a
~ well, I don't even know what!
we have our brass hooks machined locally right here in Virginia ~
{just down the road from us in fact}
and we just love supporting
another small, locally-owned business!!
… here is my Farmer out feeding our chickens this morning ~
their egg-production has ramped up a bit with the warmer temps and longer days…
YES!!!
there is nothing like fresh eggs for breakfast
{or lunch, supper, snack…}
Hoping you all have a wonderful beginning
~ to an even more wonderful week!!
be productive
be happy!!

I love the egg-shaped punch needle piece…I really must learn to punch needle! Tell Peter his hooks are amazing, reminiscent of Easter eggs!
How about some velvet ric-rac trim on those cute bunnies?
Can't wait to order a robin egg blue hand-turned hook!
Have a wonderful day :)

I'd like to see it in a little braided vine frame - so it would resemble a basket-like trim. Just a thought.
