All the Trimmings ~ and a WINNER

~ Good Morning Friends & Folk ~
a very happy Friday to you!

let me first thank everyone who has left a comment for the GIVEAWAY!
~ my stars I'm in good company!
seems like so many of us love love the Fall time, don't we?

and the winner of the hand drawn wooden Jack thread holder from ©NFF  is
 "Thoughts By Sharon"
who had this to say about her love of Autumn:

"First of all, I love your designs and color choices. My favorite things about Autumn (I have many)are : The warm colors, the changing of the leaves, the cool Autumn days, the smell of the outdoor fire, acorns, leaves, soups and chili to warm your insides, the way it seems to be a little quieter outside, the pumpkins, squash and gourds, the fall festivals and craft shows, there is something in the air that makes people seem more friendly and kind (maybe it's just me,seeing them that way),kids playing in a pile of leaves, the excitement of children when they go Trick or Treating, snuggling in my favorite hoodie... I could go on and on!!! I LOVE AUTUMN !!!!"
congratulations to you!!!
PLEASE email me at Not4got@aol.com with your shipping info asap :)

I'll be holding another giveaway again soon, but this time it will be for my Facebook Friends only
since there were quite a few of you who had trouble leaving a comment on this blog…

Thank you Elizabeth for sending me these fine trims to work with ~

I will be choosing a few to use on the almost-finished models
for this weekend's upcoming release of my new designs for Autumn/Hallowe'en!

~))))))))))O((((((((((~

Here is that little sampler I'm working on for the September 1st Early Work Mercantile update
have to figure out what type of finish this will be yet ~
framed?
sawdust pillow??
needle roll???

and of course now I have to switch gears in my head once again,
just as my soul longs for Autumn,
… my hands will begin working for
Winter.

I have the two beautiful hand dyed linens below from
Terri at Dixie Samplar ~

the green linen is 30ct Olive Branch
and
the red linen is 40ct Copper Penny

I love them both and think the colors are perfect
for Holiday/Winter stitching, don't you?

oh, and see that linen fabric that they are resting on? the fabric with the grey stripes?
THAT fabric was purchased at Joann's and is toweling!!!!
but
me thinks it will be perfect for some stitching as well :)
looks like a 30ct to me ~

I used my 50% off coupon since it wasn't on sale & purchased two yards….
{{ now I think I have to go back & get a bolt! }}
ha!

Today is the day I MUST clean this farmhouse.
I don't mind cleaning, dusting, washing windows ~
but
I would much rather be playing with needle & thread!

~ Blessings from the Farm ~

Boy I wish I'd won but congratulations to the winner. I love all those trims and can't wait to see your newest releases even though I'm not allowed to buy anything right now. But I wonder if linen and trims counts? Guess it does. So I'll wait a little bit and then order them.

Congrats to the winner!!! Those trims are so beautiful. Have fun with them. And now I have to check out the toweling at JoAnns. I bought some napkins on clearance that have a nice linen look to them that I thought I could do something with. So fun to find these things.

The trim colors are so rich…but I also have to say, Lori, don't you just love their names??!!! Happy housecleaning (it's also good for the soul, just not as fun as stitching)! :)

I love those trims Lori. I just bought some toweling today but did not get it at Joanns on sale. Dummy me for not checking there first.
