~ Let the Punching Commence!

I am ready ~
I have gathered all of my punching supplies….

punch needle & threader{s} ~ check.
weavers cloth ~ check.
Valdani threads ~ check.
Hookinpunch gripper frame ~ double-check.

I have my scissors, ball jar & notebook

choosing colors first ~
let me see…..oh 'witch' one?
decisions decisions

colors chosen ~ check
what to punch?

...on to that notebook aforementioned.

usually I carry notebooks with me.
in the car, in my purse, next to my bed ~ on the side table by by stitching chair{s}
~ and always always in my workbaskets.

the little notebook below
hold my many muses and inspirational words:

and I open it up to reveal ~

no kidding…..

 with the 'help' of a couple of friends of mine,
I begin listing motifs….

they won't stop talking…blah blah blah

ok I get the idea!
I will punch them all!!!

weavers now on my Hookinpunch gripper frame ~
~ punch needle standing by.

Valdani threads dropped into my ball-jar,
punch needle threaded

knows what I'll be creating next?
{he does!}

Happy July 1st everyone!

I'm feeling Halloween-ish, too! I've got a black cat wire hanger that needs a piece. To punch or hook??? that is the question!

Please tell about the difference between punch needle and rug hooking. I have no idee,

Hi Lori!

Love the owl! your colors are great in the bowl, I used Valdani last year and wasn't crazy about it...it was #6, The # 8 is great, I;ve been working on Olde Goat and love #8 Valdani! O course still like DMC 6 strand also...and more affordable.
Notebooks are my brain...can't live without them!
