My sweet Hubby Peter has recently been given his FIRST Provisional Patent!!!!

since he is a woodworker, he knows all of the ins & outs of tools and such ~ 

...and he came up with the idea for this handy device while working one day…

Economical ~ it uses LESS sandpaper than other sanding blocks on the market today.

As a folk artist & needlewoman, I use this sanding block for many things…

even to distress my finished cross stitch projects!

by gently rubbing a fine grit sandpaper across the stitches or linen, 

I can create subtle age & wear that resembles the early samplers that we love so much!

I recently received my Designers Ring of beautiful, rich

Weeks Dye Works cotton threads….

I do work mostly with DMC threads ~ 

but I have a few designs in mind that I want to use 

hand dyed threads on, and these are just perfect.

I have chosen my color palette from the hundred of colors sent ~

which was indeed no small fete due to the fact that I think they are ALL beautiful!

I have categorized them here for you in general shades first 

{example: blacks, whites, reds, greens, etc…}

now some of you might think:

 'really? that's RED to her? looks like orange to me…'

but

I 'see' colors differently than most, so humor me ~ lol
