Introducing: "Willy Melt" & his wife "Betty Won't"
(ok, little play on words there....will he melt?...bet he won't!....get it? huh huh?)
no throwing rocks at me now....
Willy Melt & Betty Won't |
I cannot tell you how much fun I've had designing & creating these two ~
well, maybe I can!
from choosing the background fabrics...
to handstitching on the wool ~
Willy |
to attaching the buttons and trims of homespun...
and adding the backing and border ~
Betty |
together, they make the perfect couple, don't you think?
(but their patterns are sold separately)
see the sparkly trim on Betty's skirt? and the jingler-bells and beautiful buttons? oh, and the cross stitch too? (see?....F U N!) |
I am working on Valentine designs now ~
shifting into that beloved & romantic holiday of hearts....
more "primsical" good things to come!
finished size of each quilt is approx. 15"w x 13"h |
I hope you enjoy my newest endeavor ~
stay warm & cozy my Friends...
* Blessed be *

Made me think of Lamby Kischa and Ida Wanna. :-)
Love them.
Absolutely adorable designs.... Willy and Betty. Does your brain ever sleep or is it on active mode even during rem sleep? Such a creative person you are.

Just absolutely adorable!
they are just too cute!!!
Lori...you have an uncanny ability of being able to extract the simple essence of a design idea. Most of us lose this ability as we grow into adults but a lucky few of you manage to hold onto that gift...my daughter can do this as well. These designs are so sweet and just make you happy to view them.....thanks for your post!
What a charming couple. Love how you used so many different elements to make them. Just perfect.
Blessings,
Sandra
