in the meantime, this one little doe stands perfectly still ~ statue-like.

all of a sudden a fawn decides to kick up his (her?) heels (hooves?) and get a little spunky with it's momma...

Pinnochio finds no humor in the shenannagins or the fact that the dogs have allowed this motley crew so close to his barn...

Good morning dear Lori, Your photos are lovely and the deer are so sweet! I can see they enjoy visiting your farm. Pinnochio is very cute and that looks like what he is saying.... Can't wait to see deer again rather than street traffic when I look out my window....I'm moving in....we can sew and watch scary movies together, I can cook and bake for rent!! :) ~Kriss~
I just love going into the woods and seeing the deer.....it is hard for me to see people shoot them, glad my hubby isn't a hunter.
We treasure the deer moments in our yard, too. There is a group of about 7 that frequents the neighborhood. As always, I enjoy seeing my friends at the farm!
