Hello!

Good Morning Friends & Folk!
and Merry-Day-After-Christmas to you:)

How fast this year seems to be flying...
it will be a whole New Year is less than a week's time.
I love to reflect this time of year ~ especially during the week between these holidays ~
to see how I can better myself, my family & my friends...

I'm hoping to begin exercising more by taking more walks with our dogs.
I'd like to start volunteering more, so I will contact our local Senior centers to see how I can be of help to them.
or perhaps I'll go to our local animal shelter and help there?

all I know I will feel better doing something MORE.
yes, I am busy here with our family...the farm, animals, shop & house...
my pattern business keeps me plenty busy too ~ {my thanks to you all!}
but I will make the time to take the time...to help.

Hoping you will consider doing the same :)

I also wanted to ask you a couple of questions that will help me in the upcoming New Year:
  1. what types of classes would you be interested taking here at the shop?
  2. how do you feel about pdf patterns (emailed) in general?
  3. would you be interested in attending a weekend retreat here at the shop? (local lodging)
  4. what are your thoughts on attending a rug show, quilt show, needlework show here on our shop grounds?
  5. any other input that you would like to share?
just comment here for all to see!!
or you can email me at
not4got@aol.com

I value you & your input !!!

Have a wonderful day my Friends!

blessings from the farm,
Lori

Hi Lori,
Glad you had a Merry Christmas as I'm very sure we all did. How can you not, being with family and friends.
I wish I lived close enough to visit your shop - looks very appealing - I'm sure I could do some $$ damage in there to my bank account!!!

Blessings,
Karen

Although I do not live in the USA and would sadly miss classes, I think the E-PDF patterns would be a splendid idea.

Happy New Year!

It's PDF patterns for me. I can get my "have to have fix" in an instant. I LOVE them. Great idea for me!

Hi, Lori ~ epatterns are the best, love them. Instant gratification. If I could come to the shop rug hooking would be my preferred class.

I would love to be able to come to a class or a retreat or show or ANYTHING at your shop - but, alas, it's a wee bit too far from Nod.... As for PDF patterns, I know many like them/prefer them - however, I'm a throwback to the old days....I sometimes get patterns and don't do them right away - and before you know it, my computer dies, or is replaced, and it's in a format I can no longer access, etc. So I actually prefer the good old fashioned paper kind. I know I'm in the minority there....but, hey - you asked.... ;o) Smiles & Monday Hugs ~ Robin

I like PDF/instant download patterns
myself. I can always print them if I want a paper pattern. A retreat would be fun, other than that I'm too far away for the other things. But if I lived nearer, yes to everything!
I like the pic of the shop.

You and the shop look great in your pictures!! It's nice to let people who are far away see how wonderful it is!
I'd like to learn that new embroidery technique.
YES! to a retreat at your place..I already have the lodging!
YES to a show at you shop!
YES....I'm one of the lucky ones who lives close to Notforgotten Farm!
Hugs....

I would love to come to a show at your shop. I also want to learn how to do punch needle. Another good class would be on how to turn finished cross stitch into needle books, etc. I too am lucky to live close enough to come to your shop and hope to get by soon!

Well, if you could put wheels on the store and make it more like a traveling gypsy wagon and travel around, yes even near Utah, I would love to takes classes on quilts, hooked rugs, punch needle or samplers! And I would shop there too! -Constanceoc@yahoo.com
