In my sewing room....

I'm working like a crazy-woman lately...
trying to finish up orders for my distributors and shops
and get finished things ready for the show on the 17th...

did you know that today is the 7th of September ALREADY????

(we have TEN days till the Gathering & Trunk show!!!)

so here is a snap of one of the shelves in my lil sewing room:

I'm trying to hook, punch, paint...
make dolls and pinkeeps as fast as I can!! also I want to get my etsy shop ready for Halloween/Harvest listings toooooo ~

the cat below is a part of an OLD hooked rug that I have...
I love it's naive-look and Autumn colors ~
the rest of the rug is very cottage-y looking....

and here are some teeny-tiny little xstitched punkins ~
done over one with one on 40ct evenweave:

they are wearing miniscule Witch's caps!!
the photo below shows how little they are...
seen through the finger-hole of my pretty little stork scissors~
oh, and that's a fox on top of that punkin!

I cannot for the life of me remember where I purchased these scissors,
but I do know that Miss Flea (Felicia) was with me, cause she bought a pair too...
SPEAKING of Miss Flea ~
she's not been blogging becasue she is finishing up her Certified Nurses Aide course!!
she is Valedictorian in her class!

she will graduate on the 19th ~ so hopefully she will get back to blogging again soon.
oh, and I have new designs I need her to stitch too so she'll be one busy woman :)
(love you)

okeedokee friends,
I'm off to work.
actually, the Singing Donkeys (real ones) are yelling at me for their breakfast....

....talk soon!

Blessings from the Farm...

I wanna come play (and shop!) in your sewing room!! What fun, fun, things I spy! And I adore those little pumpkins....but yikes, yikes, yikes....that 1 over 1 on 40 ct could be the end of me! Hope things go smoothly the next 10 days....Don't forget to breathe!! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

You've always amazed me Lori with all that you get done but even more so because your creations are so vast from fabric to clay to hooking to stitching. Each of your designs are so unique. It's not like you make the same things over and over and that is truly a creative gift. BTW, will you be offering calendars for 2012? - BJ

Make sure you don't hook, punch, or paint your fingers while you are working like a mad woman!!! Everything is so perfect. I love your creations.
