I am a big brown fan. Especially with turquoise. I really like the fabrics you've shown. Beautiful. I need to learn to quilt.

Browns ARE lovely and remniscent of all things olden. I am especially fond of any and all calicos and homespun in shades of blue; but I do like to compliment the blue with browns and reds!
I also am into Civil War Browns and Blues, but not together!!
Oh yes, browns call to me also Lori, as do the civil war prints. You've got some nice ones there!

Brown are awesome...BUT some of the reds..not the brights...but the "reds" have me in a tither right now!!
I can't resist reds in any form...clothes, shoes, fabrics, wool, even appliances. I guess that's the Leo in me!
