we discussed my recent email to the editor of EAL mag,
regarding the acceptance of cross stitch samplers
into their craftspersons directory...
She explained to me, that although they do accept samplers,
there hasn't been any submissions for them as-of-late...
hence, the absence of them in the directory.

I did remind her that a few years ago,
there was an announcement stating that cross stitch samplers

She encouraged & advised me to submit my samplers,

Snafu my... my... broken needle (to be polite). Thx for your efforts to right a wrong Lori. Great update news, have fun with this new project...
WOW! That was a quick response. I'm excited for you.
Lori,
I love EAL and I'm glad that they responded to you so quickly. That says alot about them. I look forward to getting my subscription in the mail box. I will never have one of the true historic homes, but I study the "look" and drool over the pictures. The articles are very informative as well. Will be looking to see you in it next year. ~Ann
Woo-hoo! You go Girl!
That is wonderful news. It just goes to show that the squeeky wheel gets oiled. If you never sent your email and just wondered in silence nothing would have happened. I know in my heart you will get into EAL next time around.
Congrats.
Donna
That is wonderful, way to go, sometimes its always best to speak up, you just never know. Good luck, your work is beautiful.
Blessings,
~Ronda~
That is good news! Can't wait to see what you create!
Congratulations on the contact. Sounds fantastic. So glad you emailed them. I love that magazine but only get it speratically. Not familiar with the directory but please let us know when you get your new pieces done. I want to be watching for them and mentions in the magazine.
One of my many mantras is..."Nothing ventured, nothing gained." I'm sure your designs will be terrific!!
Have a good trip!
Tess is a dear friend on this front, as my husband, Gregory, writes for EAL. I am SO glad that she cleared that one up for you, and that you contacted her about it. Good going!
