Friday....

This week has seriously flown by!
i swear, I just don't know where the time goes anymore~

it was just Saturday, wasn't it?

Speaking of Saturday,
tomorrow is our Braided rug Class here in the shop...
it is a FULL class! woohoo!!!
this morning will be spent readying the shop (read: cleaning)
and getting the supplies ready for the students...
should be a fun class & I'll post pics of our shenanigins on Sunday....
this afternnon, I'll be back in the farmhouse working on my Witch Garden Sampler...
it's coming along...
me thinks it is turning into a sort of band-sampler, but who knows...
I just follow my needle's coaxing!!!

here are my GAST threads hanging from my beloved & oh-so-helpful
Ott Lamp/Clamp/Magnifyer/Tray...
(I've told you all about this before, but it is theeeee best investment I've ever made...
especially now that these eyes of mine need more than my bifocals!)

being a needlework designer,
the Gentle Art company graciously sends me their beautiful threads
in hopes that I will use them in my designs...
...and that I do.

I always look forward to receiving a little envelope from them in the mail,
stuffed full of wonderful, new mouth-watering threads!!!

it's like holding a rainbow in your hands!!

...and, speaking of Rainbows;
the sun is predicted to shine this aft...
we'll see ~

Hoping your day is filled with beautiful colors!!!

Blessings from the Farm,
 Lori

Hi Lori,

Ohhh . . those colors!
I agree . . the days seem to ZOOM by, especially in the spring!
Thanks for your post on my blog! Silly me didn't mention that "Workt By Hand" is in Tipp City, Ohio !
The town is too sweet . . . good restaurants and antique shops . . what more do you need? It would be so fun to meet up with you there!
I am so fortunate to have my sister about 2.5 hours away...but even that is too far!

Oh . . . and I worked it out! I'm headed to Quilt Market ! I can't wait! it's been years since I've been!)

I wish I could come to a class at your farm . . . but you might have a hard time getting me to leave!

Have a happy day,
Lori Ann

I love your blog and I read that you are doing a braided rug class tomorrow. If I wasn't in California I
would be there. I have books and have tried to teach myself but alas just like everything else I try to learn if I could just sit and watch.
So have a wonderful class and I will dream that I am there making a rug. :)
I know that if I lived there, I would be a permanent fixture on your wall. :)I love all of your class listings.

What a beautiful array of colors in those threads, and only you can put them into the perfect settings. You are so inspiring, which is why I am finally, at last, after all these years, making my samplers!!! My dolls eagerly look forward to making some too! You are such a kind teacher.
