Finally !!!!

Here are the Goodes!!!!
this is by far the coolest thing I found on Girls Day Out...
it's a Tin Dishrack !!!
it even has a tiny little screened portion for utensils...
don't know if maybe this was used for camping perhaps, but I HAD to have it!!!
it will accompany me to the Summer in the Valley show in July,
and I have been collecting little children's tin plates to display in it...
how sweet!!

Below, is a grouping...
a grey graniteware child's potty,
a small ceramic bowl with animals on it,
an OLD hand-mixer/beater,
some baskets,
a flour sack,
and two early children's school-books....
(the little red table that their on was a steal too)

This BEAUTIFUL, early Summer quilt
has sweet calico's
and shirtings from the late 1800's ~ early 1900's
a couple of usual stains, but no rips or tears at all
(bought this for 1/2 price!)

And,
this was being called a
Laboratory Desk...
said it came out of
Randolph Macon Women's College
here in Lynchburg, VA...
I think it is so neat!!

a VERY good day indeedy!!!
today will be spent working in the shop garden, weeding (again)~
then stitching finished samplers for the July & September shows...
beautiful sunny skies this morning!!
Oh & I almost forgot!!!
We are EXPECTING !!!!!!
{{Baby Peacocks, that is...sorry Mom}}
their eggs are almost ready to hatch!!!!!!!
I have never seen a baby Peacock before,
...so you can be sure I'll be taking & sharing LOTS
of snaps!!!!!!!
have a wonderful, creative & productive day my Friends!!!
Blessings from the Farm,
Lori
