{ one step forward...}

One step forward, two steps back....
I had plans to be finished with this sampler by now!!
I wanted to stitch a bee...so I did,
but didn't like the colors so I UNstitched and then REstitched...
then I was happy...

BUT,
I didn't quite like the beeskep I stitched...
so out it came and another had to be stitched in it's place...
I added leaves to the border (partially) and like that look...
next I'm working on a crow and a girl and...and...
oh...just too many ideas in my little head today...
I'll share pics of it later!!!

Blessings from the Farm,
Lori

Your sampler looks so pretty !!!! Can you tell us the difference of using plain old DMC floss vs the kind of floss you use ? I know some are hand dyed & have such a nice warm look, but are they better to use ? I find my DMC floss tangles & twists. I use shorter lenghts, but I don't want to stop to re-thread once I get going . Thanks...Happy stitching !! Can't wait to see your finished sampler !
