I have a sweet little pincushion for you!
no, it's not patriotic ~or~ red, white or blue...
but....
I made it from 5 different early-looking calico's, in blues and browns...
but....
I made it from 5 different early-looking calico's, in blues and browns...
the center has a cross stitched alphabet done 1-over-1 in red thread
on a slice of early4oct. linen from my stash of antique textiles...

it is 'flat-stuffed' with some of my raw sheep's wool
to help keep your pins and needles sharp,
and on the back I've stitched a little patch with my initials...

it measures just 2 1/2" x 5"...so sweet to tuck into your basket, place in a wooden bowl with drieds or set on a shelf or cupboard...heck, you can even use it to hold your pins! LOL!
